a series of travel images from Myanmar (Burma), Kyaiktiyo Pagoda or Golden Rock, is an important Buddhist pilgrim destination in Mon State. According to legend the Golden Rock is precariously perched on a strand of the Buddha's hair. In Bago and Pyay towns, also north of Yangon, we find important Buddhist temples and pagodas such as Kyaik Pun Pagoda and in Pyay is the Swesandaw Paya containing a few of Buddha's hairs.
