The city is famous for its Bohemian culture, brightly coloured houses and excellent seaside views. With its houses clinging to the steep terraces it's a fascinating city to explore. The natural amphitheatre setting and the important port with the historic quarter has earned the city the Unesco World Heritage status in 2003.
