a series of travel images from Bolivia, Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat. It's situated in the south west of the country on the Altiplano at an altitude of 3653 m. Trips are made on the 12.105 sq km salt flats by jeep. The stark scenery with a highlight being the visit to the Isla de Pescadores, ('Island of the Fishermen' from the Aymara translation), is a memorable travel experience. Also a rare sight is the Cementerio de Trenes, the train graveyard near Uyuni town.
