a series of travel images from Europe, Turkey - on the coast with Efes and Troy. Situated in the west Ephesus (Turkish: Efes) is a Unesco World Heritage Site with magnificent Roman ruins. At its peak during the 1st and 2nd century AD It was a major Roman city second in importance and size only to Rome. Troy, an ancient city in the north-west of the country was the setting for the Greek myth of the Trojan War, it's also a Unesco World Heritage Site.
